Tips for a Better Life in 2009...


1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.  
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.  
3. Buy a DVR and tape your late night shows and get more sleep.  
4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, 'My purpose is to _________ today.'  
5. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.  
6. Play more games and read more books than you did in 2008.  
7. Make time to practice meditation, and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.  
8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6.  
9. Dream more while you are awake.  
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.  
11. Drink green tea and plenty of water. Eat blueberries, wild Alaskan salmon, broccoli, almonds & walnuts.  
12. Try to make at least three people smile each day.  
13. Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new and flowing energy into your life.  
14. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, OR issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.  
15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.  
16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed-out charge card.  
17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the NEGATIVE BLUES away.  
18. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.  
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.  
20. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.  
21. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.  
22. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.  
23. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.  
24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.  
25. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'  
26. Forgive everyone for everything.  
27. What other people think of you is none of your business.  
28. REMEMBER GOD heals everything.  
29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.  
30. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.  
31. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.  
32. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.  
33. The best is yet to come.  
34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.  
35. Do the right thing!  
36. Call your family often. (Or email them to death!!!)  
37. Each night before you go to bed complete the following statements:  I am thankful for ________. Today I accomplished ________.  
38. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.  
39. Enjoy the ride. Remember this is not Disney World and you certainly don't want a fast pass. You only have one ride through life so make the most of it and enjoy the ride.

Estragon和 Vladimir 兩個流浪漢一邊語無倫次地閒扯,一邊做些無聊瑣碎的動作。同時間他们一直在等待一位叫做戈多的神秘人士的到来,此人不断送来各种信息,表示马上就到,但是从来没有出现过。後來他们遇到了Pozzo 與Lucky,波卓是幸運兒的主人,兩個人一番瘋癲,一切恢復原樣。兩個流浪漢讨论了各自的命运和不幸的经历,他们想上吊,但是还是等了下去。他们只是两个不知道为何来到这个世界上的普通人;他们设想了种种站不住脚的假设,认为他们的存在一定有某种意义,他们希望戈多能带来解释。

會是因为他们对意义和方向抱有希望,他们才获得了某种形式的尊严,而这种尊严使他们能在无意义的存在中升华嗎?

空闲

时经常想起上海胡同里热乎乎的饺子店,杭州安静的西湖, 阳朔陈旧的西街,和冷冰冰的立交桥与不真宗的烧鸭店相比,这里的模模糊糊真让人纳闷。听朋友说在国内的热闹,或是他们长久的计划,我都很兴奋,做“孩子王”太累了,我还是要“做穷人,有骨气,不打架,不偷东西,做一个努力向上的人"

医生与病人的接触越来越多的依赖于护士对别人的观察,护士与病人及家属的交流。有病人家属经常也会找护士问认为为何我妈的伤你没药,为何我妈只有 IV,没有麻醉。医生有决定改变的权利,但往往是最后知情的人。希望你看了这以后能更好体会医生与护士的脚色,保留与护士的好的关系会让病人康护更轻松。尊重病人,认真听病人的倾诉是护士的责任。当然护士与医生也非常需要你的尊重,因为那是他们为你多迈出一步,多费一点心的动力。美国的医院经常会缺人,原因有很多,有时一个医生, 护士要付责很多个病人。病人对他们态度不好只会伤害自子,并不影响他们的支票数额。职业硕士护士能开药给病人,很多更尽责的专业人会一丝不苟交学生。
